- Bricsys® Network License Manager is a standalone software component normally deployed inside a company's network to host floating licenses issued by the Bricsys software vendor.
It's expected to be used by system or network administrators to manage the usage of floating licenses.
- Bricsys Network License Manager V24 supports network licenses issued for recent versions of Bricsys software products, like BricsCAD®
or Communicator for BricsCAD® (it is also compatible with the network licenses issued for previous versions of these products, until V13).

RLM version
To protect the intellectual property embedded in its software, Bricsys uses the RLM framework from the Reprise technology provider.
The new version of Bricsys Network License Manager is powered by a recent version of RLM framework (V15.2).

Web Server
A new web server (Mongoose) was introduced in the RLM framework that improved the following security aspects of the Bricsys Network License Manager:
- New RLM web server requires a login procedure to access its web interface.
- Passwords for accessing its web interface are case-sensitive.
- The web interface
supports HTTPS protocol.

- Replacing outdated GoAhead web server, which had security issues.
- Upgrading Mongoose web server to 7.11, addressing two critical vulnerabilities.

Known limitations
The following known limitations are identified in this release:
- Upgrading Bricsys Network License Manager based on RLM 14.2 to the new one, based on RLM 15.2, is not supported.
To install the new Bricsys Network License Manager based on RLM 15.2, the user must first uninstall the old version.
- After uninstalling Bricsys Network License Manager based on RLM 14.2, its old .PW file is no longer valid.
To fix this, a user must delete the old .PW file and create a new one.
